About Us
Founded by a collective of Chinese and Filipino children of immigrants, Mochi & Cream was created to celebrate culture, entrepreneurship, and community connection. The founders — Sam Chau, Nelson Chau, Alex Chen, Kevin Zhao, and Janice De Castro — came together with a shared vision of building a welcoming, family-oriented space rooted in cultural pride and neighborhood engagement.
In addition to serving handcrafted mochi, small-batch gelato, and bubble tea, Mochi & Cream also functions as a creative craft space, offering activities and workshops designed to engage children and families. The space is intentionally interactive, encouraging creativity, learning, and play.
